The Stephenville Theatre Festival is thrilled to announce that MusicFest 2018 will take place on August 4th, 2018 at the Stephenville Dome.
Evening Show Lineup 8:00 pm - 3:00 am (doors open at 7)
8 pm MPH
MPH is a great local 3 Piece band which includes: Martin MacNeil ( Keyboards & Vocals ) Lenny Park ( Guitar & Vocals) and Les Hynes ( Drums & Vocals ). They have been playing your favorites since 2009 and the band is very excited to start MusicFest 2018 with a bang! Get there early to catch MPH in all their glory.
9 pm Waterfront Fire
We are very excited to welcome Waterfront Fire to MusicFest 2018!
Based out of St. John's with a Stephenville connection - Waterfront Fire's sound is a distinct blend of modern rock, introspective lyrics, soaring vocals and progressive arrangements. They have been compared to The Tragically Hip, Hey Rosetta! and Paramore.
Waterfront Fire has received an ECMA nomination for Rising Star of the Year (2017), and received MusicNL awards for Alternative Recording of the Year (2015 - First Light) and Rising Start of the Year (2016), and also nominated for Group of the Year (twice), Entertainer of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.
Waterfront Fire are: Andrew Boyd, Paul Brace, Jordan Coaker, Ben Thistle and Dan George.
10 pm Claude's Friggin' Big Band
Two things we heard last year - more Claude & Friends and where's the Big Band?!?!?!
We heard you! Claude's Friggin' Big Band is set to destroy the dome for a full 90 minutes this year with 10 of the finest performers our region has to offer (and maybe even a few special guests - who knows)
Claude's Friggin' Big Bandmembers are: Claude Caines, Martin MacNeil, Nelson White, Kevin MacNeil, Ginger Bennett, Lisa Nolan, Rod Caines, Howie Larade, Kevin Carey and Mike Maddock.
11:30 pm The Mixed Tapes Band
The Mixed Tapes Band is an energetic party band that celebrates the music of the 80’s. This group featuring Darryl Perrett on vocals and guitar, Steve Mugford on bass, Brad Elliott on lead guitar, Martin MacNeil on piano/synth/keyboards and Max Simms on drums, build a wall of 80’s sound that take audiences back to the days of neon and hairspray. Crunchy guitars, poppy synths, a driving section, and soaring vocals will keep you dancing all night long.

Smuggler's Cove
We are thrilled to have local favorite Smugglers Cove return for MusicFest 2018. These young musicians have been entertaining crowds on the West Coast for years. Smuggler's Cove has an infectious sound that is sure to keep the night going until the wee hours. Their performance at MusicFest 2017 showed this band is ready to go to the next level and we can't wait to see them close the show this year.
Smuggler's Cove are Donovan Conran, Tyler Klassen, Brad AuCoin and Ben Dunphy
